Don't trust them, and hang up. Do not answer they steal your caller id information name address carrier etc, and phish thus to access your bank electronic banking access on ph or web using your name cell ph or home ph and address to validate pretend as you then can withdraw and transfer all your funds and or get credit card info/ use your info to created fraudulent credit cards un your name address ph = access ymto your SSN bank credit info to create debts in your name. All from validating your ph # which all SSA banks and cell oh co credit card co.s all use youphibe # to verify your personal info. Got several calls. Answered one. Offer for a government grant. Asked what office they were from. "The government grant office.". This was at 7:30pm eastern time on a Monday. Had a noisy background like a call center. If it's a cell phone then they were in a busy location. I asked about the noise. The man said that if I thought is was fraud he would explain. After beating around the bush trying to get personal info I asked them firmly what they were calling about. They said thank you and hung up without explaining. Haven't heard back. Next day I get a call from 801 770 4474. Rang three times, I pressed Accept button on phone to answer. The call immediately hung up. The 801 number is listed as spam on some web-sites. Prior to this I had signed up for some e-newsletters on the federal ATF web site. One of them was for grant notifications. Seems like the site may have been hacked. The web address was a U.S. .gov site, I checked the links for possible phishing before taking any actions on them.

They have called me at least a 12 times in the past 3 days. It's a scam.

I continued to get h**sled if I don't answer or if I do. I will report this number to the FCC

They say your name and number has been selected to receive a free grant. I think it's a scam. Not a legit grant. Usually, you have to write to receive a grant. And that's not as easy task.
