received a call stating they were from the internal revenue service which is a fraud because IRS does not call you usually contact you by email they're using this number to scam people and get their information do not release anything

Rec'd call this am 9/26/16 stating they were from IRS and there was a fraud noted on my income tax return and to call them back immediately. It was on my answering machine. I know the IRS does not call, but contacts you via mail.

Rec'd call this am 9/26/16 stating they were from IRS re fraud on myincome tax return and to call them back immediately. It was on my answering machine. Obviously a scam as IRS does not call. Rec'd quite a few calls in the past from different numbers. Reported all of them to the FTC.
