Receiving threating calls stating they are from the IRS and I will be arrested if I do not return their calls. they should be arrested

They want to lock me up unless I call them. Claim for unpaid or in filed taxes. I think I’m good and clean.

Frightened my poor elderly mom she thought she was going to be arrested for Tax evasion. She was in a panic all day until I came home from work. How sick and twisted, these people should be the ones with a warrent out for their arrest

Called me several times claiming there's a warrant out for my arrest. "Tax evasion." Automated voicemail from a D.C. area code. When I have answered the calls in the past, someone with a thick accent has picked up and would become agitated or angry when I told them I didn't believe them/their claims. Most of the time, they would hang up. If this were true, looks like myself and everyone else who has posted below will shortly be arrested for tax evasion, so I guess I'll see you all in jail! Seriously though, don't be alarmed -- it's a total scam. If the IRS wants to find you because you owe them, they will. They won't keep calling and leaving threatening messages.

Making threatening call. Very frightening!! Not the first time they have called threatening me with the IRS! Telling me I’m going to jail!!

Got a message from this number that it was the IRS and I was about to be sued for issues with my tax return. Spoke with a gentleman with an accent that told me there was a warrant for my arrest and I would be arrested if I didn't pay a large sum of money. What a scam When I questioned the validity of his claims, he became agitated and threatened that I would soon be arrested by the local police, have my driver's license revoked, as well as other penalties.
